We are looking to recruit a Human Resources and Compliance Manager, for our clients dealership in the Preston area.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will need to lead, develop, and implement the HR and Compliance function in line with business objectives.
The post holder will be responsible for all areas of the HR and compliance function, including, but not limited to, recruitment, employee relations, employee development and Retention, discipline, policies and procedures and stakeholder compliance.
The role is to manage the Human Resources (HR) and Compliance function, taking first responsibility for: Recruitment and selection initiatives to ensure the appropriate technical and managerial talent is sourced to meet the business needs.
The development and effective implementation of business-driven Compliance, Remuneration and HR policies and procedures, whilst ensuring compliance with all appropriate Statutory laws and regulations.
Staff training and development, including talent spotting and nurturing. Effective management of employee relations' issues (disciplinaries, grievances, employee litigation, redundancy, staff terminations) using sound judgement in resolving often complex problems, advising, and weighing alternative approaches. Company Staff Induction Programme; Internal Communication; The Business Culture and Core Values; Internal compliance ensuring internal processes are robust and being followed and regular audits completed; Stakeholder compliance requirements, e.g. VWG, VWFS, FCA, the Bank Management of all other areas of HR and Compliance; Providing administrative support to the Executive Directors.
Salary guideline is £35000-40000 pro rata
Hours: Part Time Monday - Friday (5 days - 25 Hours Per Week)
